Job Overview
As a Regional Contract Manager, reporting to the Account Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations along side Site FM's and the wider Account team.
A technical background / qualifications is essential to carry out this role successfully, due to the complexity of the sites we maintain and Risk assessment / Method statement write up's that are required to be compiled.
Duties include liaising with Sub-Contractors and Mitie Mobile engineering team ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained across the Account.
Maintaining Service levels in line with the contractual KPI's and PI's and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Build a strong working relationship with internal and external team / customers including sub-contractors to ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner, while managing Health and Safety at all times.
Compile accurate management information/reporting as required and submit in a timely manner to appropriate stakeholders.
Play a key role to support any site audits, including but not limited to, quality, health and safety, environmental and finance.
Main Duties
· Managing the contracted FM services to a portfolio of client sites within their area of responsibility; ensure they are aligned to the Mitie business unit operational processes and procedures.
· To establish, maintain and develop effective professional working relationships with clients, Mitie staff and other key stakeholders.
· Ensure service delivery is in accordance with contractual requirements and SLA / KPI's.
· Ensure Internal / External teams have a clear understanding of the risk assessments process and inspection process for buildings.
· Support and oversee maintenance related activities to ensure works are performed safely and in accordance with site rules.
· Support and manage subcontractor work, reviewing RAMS, setting to work in accordance to Mitie procedures.
· Assist in ensuring service delivery is in line with contractual requirements.
· Undertake health and safety and compliance audits.
· Any additional task which would be deemed reasonable in line with the working environment.
· Support the Account Manager and wider team with all aspects of delivery where required.
· Be able to lead meeting both face to face and via teams as and when required.
· There may be occasions where you will be expected to attend sites out of normal working hours should the Account Team be needed on a site.
What we are looking for
The successful Regional Contract Manager will have experience of FM delivery, including an awareness of CDM regulations and proven success in an operational manufacturing environment, worked within process-led, regulated organisations and/or industries.
Hold a suitable Health and Safety certificate (IOSH Managing Safely or similar) and Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is extremely desirable.
Be able to demonstrate a proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams including recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals, and performance management. Can show an ability to manage operational finance, i.e. management of WIP, debt and billing activities and highly computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications.
· Working knowledge of FM service delivery within a Technical Services Business unit.
· Experience in people management.
· Be able to demonstrate problem solving proactively.
· Good communicator demonstrating influencing skills and an ability to adapt approaches to differing audiences.
· Well organised, flexible, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands.
· Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.
· Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and comfortable with numerical reasoning.
· Be part of a one Mitie team.
· Clean Driving Licence is preferable.
· Travelling between Client sites and Mitie Offices will be required.
