Purpose of Role:
Directing and providing support to an average of 6 areas and approx 100 retail stores simultaneously. Motivating a team of area and store managers to achieve business objectives. Translating goals into short and long-term action plans consistent with company objectives to maximize and sustain profitable sales growth. Partner with area managers and head office stakeholders in the development of profitability, operational standards, communication and planning. A leader to drive the execution of the events, in store activities and business strategies.
Main Responsibilities
- An experienced senior retail controller with exceptional leadership skills to improve the regional performance
- An analytical leader to identify the ways to improve the P&L for the region
- A team player in the business who is committed to improve customer experience
- Self-motivated and a great communicator for the stakeholders, team members and customers
- Innovative and responsive to any issues emerging and proactive approach to reduce the business risks
- A coach and mentor to help people develop and move forward in their skills and knowledge

- Achieve the Profit and Loss target of the region per budget
- Improve the customer experience (increase the customer flow and basket spend)
- Achieve the Sales LFL and targets
- 90 percent of regional stores to be in “green” operational standards and mystery shopper results
- Take full ownership of key company compliance issues
- 95% on Shelf Availability

- 10 years of retail and/or management experience
