Regional Facilities Manager - Southern England

c£45/50000 plus car/allow, pension, healthcare, benefits

TJ Search are working exclusively with a renowned major plc with an operational outlets portfolio spread throughout the UK. An opportunity has arisen to join their busy FM operation. We’re looking to for an experienced individual to help pave the way for the future of facilities management across their operational portfolio across the Southern England/South Coast

In brief you will be responsible for:

Strategic Functions:

Facilities Management: Direct the Facilities Management functions across our operational outlets in the region. Address reactive maintenance and lead the PPM operations.

Maintenance: Oversee property maintenance and statutory compliance.

Soft Services: Manage soft services, spearheading improvements in areas like waste, vending, utilities, cleaning, and security.

Procurement: Supervise the procurement process for facilities-related goods/services to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Convey the agreed-upon service delivery model effectively to all operational staff.

Establish functional goals and cascade them to direct reports.

Monitor FM contractors and suppliers to guarantee they provide cost-effective services.

Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure the group's interests remain protected.

Identify performance management areas to achieve objectives.

Facilities Management & Maintenance:

Implement projects and services from the FM contract, including reactive works and planned maintenance.

Monitor and control costs and specifications for all works.

Ensure legislative compliance, including health and safety, asbestos management, and building regulations.

Apply industry best practices and analyse contract performance.

About you?

Are you a seasoned professional in the field of Maintenance and Facilities Management with at least 5 years of experience? If you have a membership with the IWFM or hold a similar qualification, you're already ahead.

What our client truly values is your demonstrated skill in managing relationships, especially negotiating at senior levels. Your strong communication skills, coupled with a knack for managing and guiding diverse teams, will stand you in good stead.

Additionally, if you pride yourself in your approach, your ability to "roll up your sleeves and get thing done" then you might be the fit our client is looking for.

This role necessitates extensive UK travel; a driving license is mandatory.
