Regional Finance Director

Hays have partnered with this MAT based in the West Midlands, who are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As the Regional Finance Director, you will look after all aspects of the management and leadership of finance for the schools across the region.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure processes are implemented across the schools, whilst also supporting new schools to the network, leading on strategic projects related to finance.
Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that the financial strategies and processes are being carried out across the schools in your region
• Be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for strategic financial management and financial performance
• Responsible for all aspects of finance across the schools, providing a high-level service to their principals and operations leads
• Develop income generating and cost-reducing strategies
• Lead, financially, on strategic projects within the region
• To assist with finance requirements for transitioning new schools to the network, including systems set-up, staff training and implementation of policies & procedures
• Develop relationships with key financial partners, including local authorities

What you\'ll need to succeed

• You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of implementing financial processes, reporting and planning.
• Proven excellence in successfully managing, supporting and motivating a team
• Strong financial management skills
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to form solid, lasting working relationships
