The role will involve overseeing the company's financial operations for a number of regions, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to the wider business.

Description
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements and reports
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Management of a team of financial accountants
- Review of balance sheet recs
- Responsible for overseeing the month end process
- Main POC for auditors and other compliance accounting processes including SOX compliance
- Engaging with external auditors and managing audit processes
Profile
A successful European Financial Controller should have:
- Ideally a practice background but open to industry experience with substantial experience in financial accounting / compliance
- ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience in a finance leadership role
- Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Opportunity to develop or use European language skills (desired but certainly not essential)
Job Offer
