SalaryRegional Manager - Volunteer Fundraising Groups
Salary: c£33,000 per annum.
Location: Remote (role can be based anywhere, and there will be an expectation of occasional travel for team meetings or where required to fulfil the duties of the role).
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Groups, Volunteering and High Value Events, you will be a driving force for the regional fundraising strategy with focus on the growth of unrestricted income by galvanising fundraising support from a diverse portfolio of activity.
We are particularly looking for someone for this role with skills and expertise in recruiting, setting up, and managing volunteer fundraising groups or committees.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
- Alongside another Regional Manager, lead on the recruitment and set up of new Action Squads - volunteer fundraising groups to raise funds and awareness on behalf of Action for Children.
- Steward and account manage high value fundraising groups and committees.
- Be a go-to person within the team for all things relating to volunteer fundraising groups, including communicating updates and supporting the wider team with the delivery of volunteer fundraising group activity.
- Work with the Senior Manager on the development of fundraising group resources and the development of new products.
- Work collaboratively across the whole Regional Fundraising team to support the delivery of income from regional corporates, sports participants, DIY and faith fundraising.
- Support the delivery of national fundraising campaigns, e.g. Secret Santa.
- Where required, support the delivery of High Value Events within the Regional Fundraising Team.
- Always demonstrate accountability to supporters and volunteers and operating with openness, honesty, transparency, and consistency.
- Manage and deliver on set financial targets and outcomes.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, through a collaborative approach.
Let's talk about you
- Demonstrable experience of recruiting, setting up, and generating income from volunteer fundraising groups, committees, business boards, and/or third-party event teams.
- Extensive experience in generating and delivering voluntary income, particularly from volunteer fundraising groups or committees.
- An understanding of governance processes around volunteering and volunteer fundraising groups.
- Event management experience would be beneficial.
- Proven experience of networking, and of developing and stewarding excellent relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders, donors, and volunteers.
- Ability to manage as appropriate to ensure the delivery of all events and fundraising activities in a safe and professional manner.
