Off To Work are proudly working in partnership with our industry leading catering management client, recruiting an experienced, driven and ambitious Regional Manager to join their dedicated hospitality operation.
As Regional Manager you will play a crucial role, overseeing two high volume tourist venues, managing the day to day operation whilst ensuring consistently high standards of product and service.
You will create a high functioning, profitable business and become the seasonal visitors first choice for food and beverage. Managing a high performing and fully engaged team, delivering the brand vision and values around profitability, people, product and customers.
We are seeking candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage business critical relationships whilst inspiring the team and driving standards.
Regional Manager Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management
- Manage, coach and support the team by giving regular feedback on their performance, in order to deliver the objectives to achieve the wider business strategy.
- Recognise high performers and pro-actively support career development and progression.
- Manage underperforming team members to ensure a suitable approach is taken to enable them to succeed within the role.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with team members focusing on strengths and areas of development.
- Train staff to be competent in all areas of their role.
- Resolve any people issues in a timely manner.
- Providing focus based solutions to all areas of development within your business and consistently look at ways in which you can further grow and develop.
- Deal with all building and asset repairs and maintenance issues ensuring that remedial action is taken.
- Ensure all issues around Health and Safety, Food Safety and IT are appropriately dealt with and reported with all progress monitored and resolved promptly.
- Resolve all customer complaints in a timely manner to prevent further escalation and to ensure brand protection.
- Promote and embed a customer focused culture where teams are friendly, helpful and well presented to provide a high standard of service.
- Always seek to improve levels of service and ensure all issues and complaints are dealt with professionally and promptly.
- Ensure the teams understand and deliver the required standards for an excellent customer experience.
- Ensure all compliance with legal requirements, company policies and procedures, thus creating an environment that is clean, safe and welcoming for all.
- Work closely with the BOH management team to carry out regular checks on all foods and kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to fire safety and health & safety policies and procedures. Take immediate action when any breaches occur.
- Ensure all procedures around food handling, food safety and health & safety are understood by the wider team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures associated with banking, cash security and building access.
- Ensure all areas of your business are adequately staffed and in line with forecasts/budgets.
- Ensure all administration is managed and completed in a timely manner and compliant with legislation, company processes and procedures.
- Implement centrally driven initiatives and products ensuring standards are met and objectives and targets are delivered within a required timeline.
