This challenging and exciting opportunity is based from home and covering the East Midlands and North of England. We are looking for an individual with a technical background and proven experience in taking the lead to develop and ultimately secure contract opportunities with housebuilders and developers for a recognised business within the construction sectors, and this can be a product, system / solution of service.

Due to continued growth, new investment, and a continued commitment to increasing market share throughout the UK, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager, with the focus upon developing, maintaining, and managing clients in the specific East Midlands and Northern regions. The role will provide support to the Directors and will help lead the management and development of contract opportunities and a sustainable forward order pipeline / workload. This will be successfully achieved through effective engagement and servicing of associated clients, and a focus upon maintaining net margins, whilst liaising closely with the senior management team in providing regular business reporting.

The Role

• You will be responsible for the ongoing development and continued success with both existing and new clients, whilst helping to develop and secure new projects.
• You will possess demonstrable achievement within any area of the construction or building sectors, or variations thereof.
• You will have the ability to nurture profitable relationships with a wide cross section of clients, whilst also providing appropriate technical advice and guidance if required.
• You will be required to manage your own workload and develop and nurture clients effectively, including regularly progress reporting to the management in regard to any potential work opportunities.
• You should be outgoing with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, and have the ability to form long term mutually beneficial and harmonious relationships with clients of all levels.

The Person

• You must be able to offer a good level of technical expertise and client support experience gained from working within any area of the construction or building sectors.
• You will have demonstrable client development / liaison and management experience in a similar role within the aforementioned areas.
• It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
