I have recently partnered with a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, having established one of the most extensive tower portfolios across Africa. They build, own, and operate telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. They currently operate in 8 markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.
They are currently seeking to hire a Regional Sales Director to cover London, Dubai and Africa.
Your new role
As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and delivering strategic sales projects related, but not limited to:
- New customer negotiations (identification, qualification, negotiation, and onboarding)
- Existing customer contract renewals
- Responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Developing, proposing, and implementing strategic sales strategies for the full range of Helios Towers' products
- Lead on any other key high-value strategic sales opportunities across their markets as required.
- Supporting and partnering with our sales teams in existing markets to effectively execute our strategy.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience within an existing MNO (Mobile Network Operator) or Tower Company.
- Experience managing, negotiating, and developing Mobile Network Operator MLA (Master Lease Agreement)
- Experience working in emerging markets, preferably Africa and the Middle East
- Experience of managing and developing junior team members.
- Fluency in French (and/or Arabic)
- Knowledge of Business Development, strategic development, product development, commercial awareness, stakeholder management, governance, contract management, planning and budgeting, M&A, and people management.
