Introduction

An award-winning, market leader in the automatic door industry is currently seeking an industry experienced Regional Service Manager to join their key management team, covering the northern half of the country, Birmingham and North.

The package includes a basic salary of up to 55,000, 6,000 per annum car allowance, bonus scheme worth up to 4500 per year, 33 days holiday, and more. The role offers an ongoing development plan, with exciting prospects for personal growth and development.

Role Overview:

As an integral part of our team, you will support a group of 20 Engineers serving the Northern region of the UK. This role necessitates frequent face-to-face meetings with Engineers across a broad geographic area, requiring comfort with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays. While primarily working from home, you will maintain a flexible schedule, spending one day per week in the office.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of the Engineering team, handling recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures. Additionally, your technical expertise in the automatic door industry is crucial for providing guidance to Engineers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards like BS EN 16005, and conducting site audits and PPM training.

You will benefit from the support of an experienced management team, with several key personnel boasting over ten years of tenure with the company.

• Managing and supporting a team of 20 Engineers
• Providing technical support
• Conducting site audits
• Handling recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinaries
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as BS EN 16005
• Training Engineers on planned preventative maintenance procedures
• Safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of Engineers
• Monitoring Engineer performance against KPIs
  

The package includes:

• Basic salary: 52,000 - 55,000, based on experience
• Car allowance: 6,000 annually
• Profit share scheme: Expected return of 3,000 - 5,000 per year
