Job description

Regional Territory Manager.  WFH role.  £26-27k per annum.  Achievable OTE £36k in year 1.

If you told the person next to you that you are looking at an ad for a “Regional Territory Manager,” they would probably start yawning.

But that is probably because they don’t realise the rewarding role that is on offer.  More about that later on.

You are good at your job and care, you want to make a difference and feel your decisions count.  You are feeling disillusioned in your current role, pointless meetings, faceless managers and not enough time doing what you are good at helping the customer and building relationships. You don’t want a job, you want a career.

What if we knew of an independent veterinary business where you have a loyal customer base to help and develop, a place where your role impacts all aspects of the business and somewhere you can genuinely make a difference?

Luckily, there are companies like this and this one is hiring.

Based in the Quedgeley Gloucestershire this forward-thinking business is hiring for growth.  They are looking for somebody with 3-5 years of experience working within veterinary ideally a nurse or in a similar role.

This is a place where everybody pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. A strong team who want the best for themselves and their customers. A socially conscious business that helps and works within its local community.

Working with independent and corporate clients you will manage and grow existing clients plus introduce new business to the company.

Offering a wide range of premium veterinary equipment and services this will involve visiting practices, to promote and educate them about the company’s products and services.

Reaching out through cold calling, representing at trade shows, and helping source new products.  Your territory with include the NE, NW, Yorkshire, Lancs, and Scotland.

You will be fully supported by the back office team and any training will be given to progress your development.

This is a WFH role, normal office hours of 40 hours a week 8 am-5 pm with some flexibility required due to travelling. They meet quarterly as a whole team to carry out departmental meetings but this also means employees get downtime and have company get togethers.  Their last two events were bowling and a day out to the races at Cheltenham.

What’s in it for you: A basic salary of £26-27k per annum, uncapped commission. Minimum expected year 1 is £36k. 5 weeks holiday, pension, ongoing training and CPD. Company car or allowance plus smart phone and laptop.

Maybe that person sitting next to you will stop yawing and wake up now!

So, what's next?

Choosing a new role is a big decision. You want somewhere you can grow, develop, add value, and feel you are making a difference.

Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
