Registered Home Manager - Chingford Mount, London
Salary:
£45,500 per annum
Job Profile:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Home Manager to join our client's team near Chingford Mount. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for their residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage all aspects of the residential home, maintaining high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations.
- Retaining or preferably improving the current CQC rating of Good to Outstanding.
- Assist in the recruitment procedure in conjunction with the Human Resource Management team and be responsible for mentoring new care staff.
- Manage risks (e.g. mobility / behaviour / hygiene) to service users so they are supported.
- Oversee and lead a dedicated team, providing support, guidance, and training as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, their families, and staff.
- Ensure service users and their relatives are consulted and actively involved in making decisions about their care, treatment and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent completed or enrolled.
- Proven track record in residential home management.
- Specialized experience in elderly and dementia care.
- Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant legislation/standards.
