Registered Care Manager

Days and Hours : Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Pay Rates: £35,000 and £45,000 per annum depending on the experience .
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years previously registered with CQC in the role of Registered Care Manager, holding a minimum Good CQC rating, and full knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Minimum of three years’ experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or complex needs in a Residential and Supportive Living setting
- Minimum three years working in a Management supervisory capacity, managing a small size staffing team.
- Multi-site experience. This position will be responsible for a 7 bed Residential located in postcode EN3, and a 9 bed Supportive Living unit post code E4, which are approx. 15 min drive away. Both sites have parking .
- A relevant Health or Social Care Managerial Qualification with good literacy, numeracy, report writing, administrative and organisational skills.
Skills, Knowledge, Aptitude
- Dynamic and self- motivated, with the ability to work without direct supervision with using pro-active problem-solving approach.
- Achieve CQC minimum "Good" rating. Health and Safety, local authority recruitment legislation and regulations, policy, and procedures to a high level.
- Ensure all residents have a dynamic support plan which involves the person and their safety.
- Good understanding of Social care and Accommodation services.
- Proven leadership skills. To lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the homes, and resources effectively.
- Recruit, lead and motivate the staff team to reach the highest standards of practice.
- Ability to relate and support people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Proven budget and/or financial management, including filling voids.
- Ability to self-audit the services, in line with legislation and policies.
- Able to liaise and establish quality working relationships with the families and professionals,
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond positively to pressure.
- Satisfactory Health/Attendance record.
- Calm, confident manner, flexible approach.
- Sense of humour.
