We are currently hiring Registered General Nurses to join our clients in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing excellent care to patients within the community. We offer guaranteed shifts with the option to block book for up to 3 months, ensuring flexibility and stability in your work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health and develop personalised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when needed.
- Promote health and well-being through health promotion activities.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with a valid nursing qualification and regulatory registration.
- Previous experience in a general nursing role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a community-based setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Current knowledge of healthcare legislation and best practices.
