Linq Healthcare are working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest Healthcare providers, who are looking for a caring Registered General Nurse for their Surgical Wards.

You will be responsible for looking after patients recovering from orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological, specialist eye and general surgical procedures. Facilities include 4 theatres, 39 private rooms, the latest diagnostic imaging technology, a JAG accredited (gold standard) endoscopy suite, a Macmillan accredited Oncology Suite and dedicated clinics for orthopaedics, eyes procedures and breast care.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours consisting of long and short days, with occasional nights - enhancement pay for unsociable hours!
Duties and responsibilities:
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organize data, interpret all the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
Who we're looking for:
Be NMC registered
2-5 years’ experience
Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care.
Experience in a Surgical setting covering orthopaedics, general, cosmetic, ophthalmics
