**New children’s care home facility/£45-£55K per year - negotiable - willing to pay more**
Are you a passionate experienced Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity to lead and manage the launch, establishment and success of a new 3 bedroomed children’s care home (7-18 years) based in Walsall.
As a childcare facility, their primary objective is to enhance the lives of the children in their care by offering an alternative approach to the existing childcare system, one that aims to better serve the future generation.
You will be tasked with building a brand new team of care professionals, own the leadership approach within the business and create a thriving culture and environment for both staff and service users at a truly exciting period.
What we need from you as a Children's Home Registered Manager:
- Experienced working as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential home
- Possess a Level 5 diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the guide to the Quality standards, Ofsted’s Social Care Common Framework (SCCIF) and other relevant statutory legislation, guidance and best practices
- Effective communication skills at all levels, with the ability to display empathy and composure under pressure.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills within a carefully selected team, aimed at providing the highest level of care and support, enabling the children and young people in their care to achieve their full potential and secure a successful future.
- Enthusiastic and determined.
What the role involves:
You will be responsible for the start-up, growth and expansion of this new facility, where the team can truly make a positive impact on the lives of the young individuals entrusted to their care. You will work collaboratively with the Director and responsible person, who possesses extensive expertise in caring for children through both Children's Residential Services and local authorities.
- The successful applicant will share the companies vision, ethos and values, and be fundamental in creating a welcoming home-like environment and a high level of empathy, ensuring that the standard of care is maintained at the highest level
- Playing a pivotal role in establishing and leading the new childcare facility, catering to children and young people aged 7-18, you will be instrumental in developing all policies, procedures, and systems
Salary/hours:£45,000 to £55000K per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Working - Monday to Friday - hours to be discussed at interview stage.
