What You'll Do:
- Champion Quality: Provide strategic leadership and ensure the fostering service meets the highest standards (National Minimum Standards, Ofsted regulations).
- Empower Your Team: Lead, motivate, and support a team of social workers dedicated to fostering excellence.
- Safeguard Children: Champion robust safeguarding practices and ensure prompt responses to referrals and assessments.
- Develop Fostering Expertise: Take the lead in recruiting, training, and retaining exceptional foster carers.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive collaboration with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Drive Growth: Lead the planning and execution of strategies to secure future business and expand the agency.
- Inspire Innovation: Create a culture of continuous improvement and empower children to reach their full potential.
Who You Are:
- A qualified social worker with SWE registration and extensive fostering experience.
- Proven leadership and management skills, ideally within an independent Fostering Agency.
- A strong track record of leading services through Ofsted inspections successfully.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and budget management skills.
- A commitment to fostering excellence, safeguarding, and professional development.
