Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Home
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 per year DOE
Healthcare Partnerships is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team in a children's home based in Sutton Coldfield. Our client operates this home, which provides essential care and support for up to five children with learning disabilities and complex needs. The home is registered with OFSTED and strives to maintain the highest standards of care and support for its residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the children's home, providing effective leadership to staff and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the home operates in accordance with the standards and regulations set by OFSTED, maintaining full compliance at all times.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of support staff, promoting continuous professional development and fostering a positive working environment.
- Individual Care Planning: Work closely with relevant agencies, families, and professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans for each child, ensuring their specific needs are met.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment within the home, adhering to all health and safety regulations and implementing risk management procedures.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet the needs of the children and maintain the smooth running of the home.
Requirements:
- Registered Manager with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
- Significant experience working within a children's residential setting, with a strong understanding of learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent knowledge of OFSTED regulations and requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
