REGISTERED MANAGER - NURSING HOME

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager who is looking for a new challenge. The role is with a great company who manage a portfolio of Nursing Homes in the north of England, and they are very well respected for their levels of care and how the staff are treated.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to help a service grow and to ensure the lives of the service users are fully supported with excellent levels of care. This role is to manage one of their homes in the Bolton area.

• Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum DOE

The Role:
As a Registered Manager your role will include:

• Overseeing the delivery of care services, delivering high levels of care in line with regulations
• Managing staff and resources effectively
• Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
• Liaising with families, and healthcare professionals
• Assessments, supervisions and overall management of the care team
• Following of policies and procedures
• Dealing with any safeguarding issues
• Daily meetings with other senior staff

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager should have:

• Relevant qualifications in healthcare management - level 5 highly desirable or be willing to work towards it
• Experience in a leadership role, ideally in a nursing or residential home setting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Have a strong character and be a good communicator
• Be a reflective leader
• Want to develop their own style of management
• Work closely with the regional managers to develop growth plans for the service
• Worked as a manager or a deputy manager looking to step up

The Package:

• A basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
