Registered Manager, Thornton Hall and Lodge Care Home
We are passionate about our home, our team, and our service. We are seeking to appoint and experienced, people focused Registered Manager who will manage all aspects of the day to day running of the Orchard Care Home. Raising standards of care, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity whilst developing our teams to their full potential.
Thornton Hall and Lodge Care Home is a spacious, welcoming home located a stone's throw from the seafront in Crosby. We are a large 60 bed home with a Good CQC rating.
Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a caring environment (preferably within care of older people)
Minimum of 2 years supervisory management experience
NVQ 4 (or equivalent) in management or RMA
Control and management of budgets and accounts
Knowledge of the principles in sales and marketing
Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff
Understanding of the Care Standards Act and Health & Safety
legislation
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Leadership qualities, enthusiasm along with influencing and motivational skills.
