Working for a specialist in providing residential child care for vulnerable young people between the ages of 8 and 18.
Your role as Registered Manager
" This role will be best suited to an experienced manager who takes a considerate and progressive approach to leadership and is comfortable building a team from the ground up.
" You will mould the home and your new team around our Therapeutic Parenting approach and join a cluster network of similar homes in Yorkshire.
" With the full support of experienced care professionals, HR, property maintenance and referrals experts, you will oversee all aspects of running the home.
" You will have the opportunity to create a family environment for young people, in line with our core values and Therapeutic Parenting ethos, which encourages development through a warm and nurturing approach.
" Promote the development of a high quality, stimulating, and educationally rich environment in which children and young people can thrive.
Benefits-
Your staring salary is between £42,000 to £47,250 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience, qualifications, and training.
" You will receive a £3000 joining bonus, paid in two instalments of £1500
" You will receive a 10 % discretionary bonus per annum
" A relocation bonus is also available if applicable
" Your hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility can be considered.
" 33 days annual leave per annum

Essential qualities
" Level 4 Children and Young people Practitioner Qualification or Level 3 Residential Childcare.
" Two years' experience, within the past five years, working in children's residential care,
" One years' experience within the past five years, leading or supervising employees in a care home environment,
" Excellent leadership and relationship building skills,
" Proficient verbal and written communication skills,
" A willingness to attain your Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Management (England)
" Highly responsible and accountable when it comes to safeguarding our children and young people,
" Exceptional knowledge of safer recruitment practices
" Proficient IT skills and experienced in using Microsoft packages,
" A full, valid UK driver's license
" Knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting
