In this role, you'll ensure the provision of appropriate support tailored to individuals' needs, meeting established standards set by service users, families, and the Care Inspectorate.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day Management:
- Assess individuals and ensure resource availability.
- Oversee support plans and staffing rosters.
- Lead recruitment and manage administrative tasks.
Overall Management:
- Ensure policies meet legal standards.
- Supervise staff, monitor performance.
- Support staff registration and development.
Quality Assurance:
- Facilitate stakeholder input and compliance.
- Monitor staff qualifications and service budget.
Health and Safety:
- Identify and assess risks, ensure staff readiness.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Development:
- Support staff and conduct regular audits.
- Ensure timely registration with relevant bodies.
Requirements:
- Able to be registered with the SSSC with qualifications in Practice - SVQ in Social Services & Healthcare SCQF Level 9 and Management – certificated at or above SCQF Level 9
- SVQ level 4
- Previous management experience
- A confidence in decision making and multi-tasking
- An understanding of complex care needs
- Experience coordinating several teams
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- UK drivers’ licence
- A passion for providing person centred care
