REGISTERED GENERAL NURSES JOB DESCRIPTION.

HSA Locums are looking for RMNs to work across general wards across North Wales within Bangor, Wrexham and Glanclwyd to work guaranteed on-going ad hoc bookings.

TYPE OF SHIFT:

Earlies, Lates and Long days

RATES:

· Days £24

· Nights And Saturdays £32

· Sundays £38

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience in acute care within the UK.

Candidates must hold an in-date PMVA training course

Candidates must have a valid NMC pin and the right to work in the UK.

JOB DUTIES:

· Recording patients’ vital signs and medical information

· Monitoring patients, record and reporting symptoms or changes in their conditions to provide the most suitable care and advice

· To conduct 1:1 sessions and create a personal developments for patients

· Ability to deal with de-escalations

· Performing routine procedures such as administering non-intravenous medications, taking blood pressure measurements and completing patients’ charts

· Administering medications to patients, monitoring them for potential reactions or side effects and reporting to the physician

· Assisting Surgeons during operations and emergencies

· Creating and maintaining accurate, comprehensive healthcare records and reports of patients

· Working with physicians and other health professionals to create personalised treatment plans for patients

· Training and supervising Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses
