SalaryWe are recruiting a full time Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) to work with adults with autism, Mental Health issues and Learning Disabilities. We seek those who have a passion for delivering outstanding care and making a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults.
We are looking for nurses who are experienced in dealing with behaviours that challenge and who want to be part of an organisation that values people.
This is a full time contract, 168 hours over 4-week period. The hourly rate is £22.00.
Successful candidates will work 12 hours shifts and must work both day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
We expect candidates to be proficient in the use of PC and software programmes that manage patient data.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and Mental Health conditions / Learning Disabilities
- Administer medications and monitor their effects
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct assessments, evaluations and audits to determine service users' Mental Health needs
- Monitor service users' progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Educate service users and their families about Mental Health conditions and available resources
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service users' records
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid NMC Registration, Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Mental Health/ Learning Disabilities
- Proven 3 years of work experience in Mental Health nursing / Learning Disabilities with relevant group of Service Users (see above)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to service users care
