Overview
A&F healthcare are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse specializing in eating disorders and autism to join a supported living environment based in Bungay, Norfolk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the care of a female client with eating disorders, ensuring the delivery of exceptional one-to-one support through a compassionate and personalized approach in a supportive and nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a team of two, providing 24-hour one-to-one support in a supported living environment to a lady with eating disorders, ensuring her physical and Mental Health needs are met with the utmost care and professionalism.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the client, focusing on managing eating disorders and co-existing conditions such as autism within the context of their supported living situation.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support the client's health and wellbeing, adapting strategies to meet her evolving needs within the supported living framework.
- Provide expert guidance and training to the team, enhancing their skills in supporting individuals with eating disorders and autism effectively within a supported living environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to professional standards and confidentiality guidelines, with a focus on the specific requirements of supported living settings.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Extensive experience in managing and treating eating disorders and autism, with a specific understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by the supported living environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others in a supported living context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients, families, and team members in a supported living setting.
- A competitive hourly rate of £25 to £30.
