A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join one of the UK's leading providers of Mental Health care and specialist Support services to adults and younger people.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the ward manager to foster staff well-being and support staff development.
- Develop proficiency in managing a shift under the guidance of the Ward/Departmental Sister/Charge Nurse.
- Demonstrate the ability to enhance awareness and comprehension of the unique needs and diverse treatment methods for cancer patients.
- Utilize information from nursing history assessments and ongoing observations to identify individual nursing problems and needs, and strategically plan and implement care.
- Gain insight into the physiological, psycho-social, spiritual, and cultural requirements of cancer patients and their families. Foster a positive, realistic, and supportive attitude to meet their needs.
- Effectively and responsibly execute nursing care for patients in collaboration with the shift coordinator.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, document needs on care plans, and plan, deliver, and evaluate care programs from admission to discharge/transfer.
