About the service;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join a highly reputable hospital based in North Bristol. The hospital is the regional major trauma centre and internationally recognised centre of excellence in a range of services and major specialities. The hospital is modern, vibrant and boasts outstanding facilities alongside state-of-the-art technologies. This is an exciting time for a motivated Registered Nurse to join their friendly nursing team for the Interventional Radiology Labs. This busy and exciting department incorporates 4 Interventional Radiology rooms managing a variety of procedures including outpatient, inpatient and emergency cases. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Nurse to join them.
About the role
The role is working as a Registered Nurse within the nursing team and you will be responsible for the following;
- Providing care for patients undergoing a wide range of Interventional procedures
- Participate in assisting the Radiologists as the Scrub Nurse for a wide variety of procedures
- Caring and monitoring the patient throughout the procedures
- Provide assistance for radiological endoscopic procedures in all aspects of maintenance and decontamination of flexible scopes.
- To be actively involved in their own development and supporting junior members of the team in their development
Who we're looking for
- Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 1 years UK experience in an acute hospital setting
- Teaching and Assessing qualification essential
- Experience in Radiology or theatre setting highly desirable
- Teaching and Assessing qualification
- Able to participate in on-call rota
- Enthusiastic and passionate Registered Nurse
