Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse with Oncology experience to join their team in the Nottingham area.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. part time hours are also available. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Salary is up to £32,000 plus benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Your New Role

  • Assessing and evaluating patient conditions, planning, implementing, providing, and documenting patient care in a manner that follows professional nursing standards and outlines practices.
  • Drawing blood, checking vital signs, monitoring blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and ensuring that IV lines are maintained.
  • Facilitating the speedy recovery of patients through various treatment methods and procedures.
  • Offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, educating them on medication use, healthy habits, and preventive measures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with oncology wards and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. They should be excellent communicators and team workers, flexible, motivated, and committed to the highest standards of patient care. If you meet these requirements, please apply for this position.
What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice
  • Awareness of NMC code of Accountability
  • Active NMC - pin Registered RGN Nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential.
  • Cannulation and Venepuncture experience.
  • SACT passport or equivalent qualification.
