A private hospital in Northwood is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join its Outpatient team. The hospital is looking for a highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients throughout their outpatient journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients in the outpatient setting.
- Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
- Educating patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of outpatient procedures and examinations.
- Ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards in the outpatient setting.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Upholding the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting is desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Knowledge of relevant clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
