Abbotsford Care (Glenrothes) Ltd is a family run business under the same ownership since 1987. Being part of the family matters to us and we are looking for those who are keen to sign up to the family ethos. With 7 care homes throughout Fife, we are placed in the heart of the communities with local people at our core.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualised nursing care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions
- Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and complete Care Plans and MARs
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse registration with NMC
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise patient needs
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with excellent bedside manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in anatomy and medical terminology
