We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Nursing teams based at Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli.
Opportunities are available in the following areas:-
AMAU - Acute Medical Admissions conveyed by Ambulance or referred by General Practitioners – will see patients with a wide range of Acute medical problems including strokes and chest conditions
Ward 3 - a 22 bedded general medical ward specialising in elderly care including Dementia, Frailty, Parkinsons and Rehabilitation. (Part time vacancy only, up to 14 hours)
Ward 5 - specialising in Gastroenterology and Endocrine
Ward 6 - a 26 bedded ward specialising in Elective Orthopaedics Surgery
Ward 7 - a 22 bedded elective surgical ward. Specialising in Colorectal surgery, Urology, and Breast Surgery (Part time vacancy only - up to 23 hours)

We are looking for nurses that are passionate about delivering the best care possible, who have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team.

Current NMC registration
Desirable criteria
Degree in Nursing
Evidence of post registration study and training eg. POVA
Evidence of post registration study and training eg. Child Protection
Intermediate Life Support if required in a clinical setting

Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care
Experience of providing holistic nursing care
Interest in developing nursing skills
Desirable criteria
Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
Implement evidence based practice
Language Skills
