Form of workBletchley Vets4Pets invites you to join our friendly and welcoming team at our small animal practice located in the vibrant Beacon Retail Park. Just a 5-minute drive from Milton Keynes city centre, we are conveniently situated with direct train links to London in under 40 minutes and close connections to Luton and Heathrow airports.
We can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some great equipment such as ECG, high spec' Imotek veterinary ultrasound with cardiac lead and table, Idexx haematology and chemistry electrolytes, digital x-ray, dental suite (with dental x-ray) and tonometry.
This is a Full Time role working 8 hour days. Monday to Friday, typically 8-4:30pm, 9-5:30pm and 10:30-7pm. Including 1 in 6 weekends, with TOIL for weekends worked (Tuesday off following weekend, shorter day by 1.5 hours Friday prior to weekend, shorter day by 4 hours on Friday following weekend) weekend hours 8-5pm Saturday and 10:30-3:30 Sunday.
You will be joining an existing team of 6 vets, 3 Nurses (including our brilliant students) and 4 VCA’s.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from ANAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Potential for suitably experienced and motivated candidates for this to be a senior nurse role with growth potential.
