Form of workAn exciting opportunity has arisen at our Dogwood referrals practice for a full time RVN to join the team.
Dogwood Referrals is a specialist led orthopaedic and surgical referral centre in Sale, Manchester. With onsite MRI, CT, Xrays and lab, plus well equipped theatres you will have a great opportunity to use your clinical skills and to develop new ones too.
The role is 40 hours per week working over either 4 or 5 days with a fair share of out of hours and on call rota.

Role Accountabilities:

In this role you will:
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Ideally with experience of working within a referral centre
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
