A public sector organisation is recruiting a Registration Officer on an initial temporary basis. The successful candidate will be the first line of support to existing members and applicants being admitted to the company's register.
Your new role
Act as first point of contact for all registration queries and/or complaints received by telephone, email or letter and resolve where possibleTake responsibility for all post, invoicing and deregistration as directed;Maintain filing systems as appropriate, including logging all communication (e.g. calls, correspondence, email, etc) and scanning any post received and uploading to the company's systemSupport the company in the annual registration processes; to include collection of registration fees, invoicing and lapsing etcMaintain knowledge of external organisationsAccurately check and update registration data by using initiative to resolve any data anomaliesMaintain accurate records of processing activitiesEnsure all customer contacts are dealt with in accordance with corporate or other locally agreed targets;Assist, where required in undertaking analysis and preparing reports;Conduct suitability checks to ensure applicant suitabilitySupport the administration of regulatory processes as directed and in line with regulatory powers;Ensure the effective management of case files including appropriate data and evidence collection and collationWhat you'll need to succeed5 GCSE's (or equivalent), including at least a 'C' in English and Maths.At least three years' relevant administrative experience with well-developed IT skills;At least three years' relevant experience in a customer service environment, including dealing with customers face to face, by telephone and via email; andAt least three years' relevant experience of interpreting and applying policies, procedures and/or legislation, ensuring high levels of compliance.A working knowledge of IT systems and how to extract management information reportsExcellent customer service skills;Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task;Competent in the use of MS OfficeWhat you'll get in return£14.50 per hourTemporary for 6 months initially with possibility of going Fixed Term ContractFlexible working schemeHybrid working, two days office-based and three days remote working.Online timesheets with weekly payAccess to retailer discountsAccess to thousands of learning and development coursesWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
