Regulatory Compliance Lead

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Lead to join our dynamic team on an 8 month contract. Working fully remotely with occasional travel this is great time to join Buzz Bingo.

You will assist in setting and implementing all policies and procedures into the 1st line functions across the business, staying abreast with regulatory changes and ensuring training is provided at an appropriate level throughout the organisation. You will assist in ensuring appropriate levels of business and personal licensing are held within the organisation and help coordinate regulatory reporting. You will also help the Regulatory Compliance Manager to report on key statistics, controls and strategies.

Occasional travel may be required to ensure strong relationships are maintained and regulatory controls are in place, to ensure any risk to Buzz s operating license is very low.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Promote a brand of compliance as an enabler throughout the organisation.
• Adhere to and proactively enhance Buzz s adherence concerning the Gambling Act 2005, POCA, TACT, LCCP and other Gambling Commission-related guidance.Ensure ongoing compliance under our Compliance Monitoring Plan.

• Assist in evaluating the measures taken for Safer Gambling and Anti Money Laundering controls across the business.
• Assist in implementing effective policies and procedures in the organisation.
• Assist in regularly reviewing and updating risk assessments.
• Assist in regularly revieing ensuring effective training is available at the right level for all colleagues.
• Act as a business partner for compliance to ensure the business can operate and effect change compliantly, using every opportunity to educate others.
• Ensuring appropriate records of activities are maintained.
• Use skills to prioritise workload, and ensure that the appropriate amount of time is dedicated to current tasks.

Your knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of the Gambling Act 2005, POCA, TACT, LCCP and other Gambling Commission-related guidance
• Experience in the Gambling industry (5 years + desirable)
• Experience in translating legislation, as well as experience in assisting with/implementing internal policies and procedures operationally
• Experience desirable in producing and maintaining risk assessments, as well as effectively implementing them across all business operations
• Experience in actively participating as a key stakeholder in projects, representing the compliance department
• Proficient in assessing ideas and determining appropriate control measures for implementation
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
