SalaryMERJE, in collaboration with a leading Insurance Broker, seeks a Regulatory Interaction Officer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a newly formed Regulatory Interaction Function and will be critical to facilitating and maintaining relationships with the regulator.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare regulatory applications, including Variation of Permissions, Change in Control, and Senior Manager and Certification Regime approvals
- Oversee, review, and analyze regulatory returns, data, and attestations
- Manage overseas license applications and maintenance
- Coordinate, collate, and assess information to fulfill FCA information requests
Essential Experience:
- Suitable for candidates with financial services experience or recent graduates motivated to pursue a career in compliance
- Quick learner with a motivation for new challenges
- Experience in data analysis
- Self-starter, capable of working independently with guidance and support
Desirable but Not Essential Experience:
- FCA compliance experience
- Exposure to retail, commercial, corporate, and London Market insurance in a national broker
- Experience in international Licensing Applications
- Some exposure to reviewing and understanding financial reporting
- Familiarity with FCA systems, including Connect and RegData/Gabriel
