Y Rôl
Fel Swyddog Polisi Rheoleiddio, byddwch yn chwarae rhan allweddol, ymgysylltiol wrth adolygu, adolygu a datblygu ein dogfennau rheoleiddio.
Yn benodol, byddwch yn gweithio ar ystod o brosiectau a byddwch hefyd yn ymwneud ag ymchwilio, drafftio a gweithio ar, ac ymateb i, ymgynghoriadau. Byddwch yn sicrhau cyhoeddiadau o ansawdd a gweithrediad effeithiol y polisïau a gweithdrefnau hyn.
Byddwch hefyd yn cynnal asesiadau effaith, gweithdai ac ymgynghoriadau i gefnogi datblygiad polisi o fewn y tîm ac ar draws y sefydliad.

About Us
We are Qualifications Wales, the independent organisation responsible for regulating general and vocational qualifications in Wales. We focus on publicly funded qualifications, including GCSEs, A-Levels and vocational qualifications.
We are now looking for a Regulatory Policy Officer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. We are also open to discussing requests for alternative working patterns, including part-time hours and job shares, during interview.

The Role
As a Regulatory Policy Officer, you will play a key, engaged role in reviewing, revising and developing our regulatory documents.
Specifically, you’ll work on a range of projects and will also be involved in researching, drafting and working on, and responding to, consultations. You will ensure quality publications and the effective implementation of these policies and procedures.
You will also conduct impact assessments, workshops and consultations to support policy development both within the team and across the organisation.
About You
To be considered as a Regulatory Policy Officer, you will need:
- Experience of policy development
- Experience working in a context related to regulation, the education sector and/or related fields
- Experience drafting communications and reports for a range of audiences
- Experience managing work effectively in a project environment
- The ability to speak Welsh
- The ability to apply project management techniques
