Deputy Director, Early Years Regulatory Policy and Practice
This is an exciting time to be joining Ofsted. We have a new Chief Inspector, Sir Martyn Oliver, who is undertaking a Big Listen to help make sure Ofsted is an inspectorate and regulator “of the sector, by the sector, for children and learners.”
As Deputy Director, Early Years Regulatory Policy and Practice, you will be the national lead for Early Years and Regulatory Policy and Practice, providing expert advice to Regional Directors and their teams. You will lead and coordinate the national contribution to the planning of regulatory activity and ensure that it is delivered to a consistently high standard across the country.
You will be an established leader in Early Years, able to provide expert, credible insight at the most senior levels of a complex organisation. Equally, you will be an influential communicator, able to inspire and motivate across team and organisational boundaries.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact from the moment you start with us as we navigate a period of reflection and transformation.
If this is the right opportunity for you, please review our candidate pack for more information.
The closing date for applications is 9am, Monday 15th April 2024.
