Reinsurance Claims Quality Assurance Director
Assist the Vice President Quality Assurance maintain a Reinsurance Claims Quality Assurance Program focused on assessing quality of technical claims handling, ensuring high quality claims handling for Everest, and identifying areas for improvement across the Global Reinsurance Claims Department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a Reinsurance Claims Training Program including developing a curriculum for new hires, as well as continuing education for existing employees
  • Develop and expand subject matter expertise in key claims business processes and systems
  • Champion best practices and optimal systems utilization in support of best practices
  • Design and develop easy to follow documentation to support end users
  • Liaise with Internal Audit in providing key control information and updating key control documents
  • Coordinate internal audit of home and branch offices
  • Liaise with Enterprise Risk Management in assessing likelihood and magnitude of risk events
  • Perform Ad Hoc Projects associated with Reinsurance Claims Quality
Qualification and Skills
  • Knowledge of claim systems, reports, and processes, presentation skills
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow application a plus
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills are important to move a project from beginning to completion.
  • Commercial insurance property/casualty claim-related experience preferred
  • Reinsurance claims experience preferred
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills are essential
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) is required
  • Administration experience with TeamThink a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a collaborative team environment
