Relief Ferry Terminal Operative
(Permanent part-time position)
To cover periods of annual leave/training/sickness absence, sometimes at short notice, for a small team responsible for operating the linkspan, collecting foot passenger tickets, and assisting in general duties in and around the Harbour.
We require someone who is reliable, punctual, flexible and has experience in dealing with members of the general public in a friendly and professional manner.
Full training in the operation of the linkspan and associated duties will be provided.
A two-shift system is in operation covering the hours of 06:00 to 22:15 hours 7 days per week, including Bank Holidays. The nature of the role means that there is no set pattern of shifts, and there may be longer periods between shifts at times.
