Salary £40,000 + allowances

NonStop Social Care is currently working with an Independent Fostering Agency in Yeovil. I am currently recruiting for a Remote Supervising social worker for their team.

The Fostering Agency is High Standards and has achieved Good Ofsted rating in 2023 inspection. Currently they are on the journey for outstanding and will want social workers that share the same values of offering a family-feel environment to staff, carers, children looked after. They have a great management structure, 3 deputies are helping the RM which means there will always be career progression opportunities to Senior roles due to expansion of the service.

Responsibilities

The Remote Supervising social worker will be responsible to support and supervise carers approximately 10 households. In case the caseload drops below 10, you will be asked to get involved in fostering recruitment, foster care training, events depending where you skills are.

The role is remote with office attendance 2-3 times per month in Somerset. Your carers will be based in Yeovil, Chard, Taunton areas. You will have a clustered caseload to reduce travelling.
