SalaryProject Manager required. Bennett and Game are currently representing a very well-established Electrical company that specialise in Power Generation equipment in Manchester who are seeking a Project Manager. The ideal candidate would come from either an Electrical or Landfill Gas background, have a recognised senior electrical engineering qualification, experience with power generation equipment and hold a full UK driving license.
Project Manager Position Overview
- Overseeing project management for comprehensive construction activities encompassing civil, mechanical, and electrical installation and commissioning.
- Strategizing and executing project plans, risk management, budget control, and ensuring health and safety/CDM compliance, while efficiently managing project timelines.
- Balancing responsibilities with a combination of on-site, remote, and office-based tasks.
- Participating in all aspects of Electrical Design, installation, and commissioning, collaborating with third-party designers, consultants, and contractors for Energy Storage projects.
- Contributing to Controls system Designs, engaging with third-party designers and consultants for both Energy Storage and Gas-related projects.
- Collaborating with ICP contractors and maintaining involvement with INDO & DNO throughout the project lifecycle.
- Playing a direct role in the technical relationship with our Battery Energy Storage supplier.
- Actively participating in and interacting with the Electrical Manager throughout all phases of the project life.
Project Manager Position Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management within the UK renewable energy sector.
- Proven success in overseeing multi-trade site operations, demonstrating adept control over project planning, time management, effective communication, risk management, budget control, and compliance with Health & Safety and CDM Regulations.
- Established track record of thriving in teamwork environments and possessing excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of LV (AC & DC) power systems.
- Fundamental knowledge of HV (33 - 132kVA) power systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Management role
- Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship with knowledge of HV - LV systems
- AutoCAD - 2D

- Competitive Salary £55,000 - £60,000
