The Role

This position is exceptionally diverse, providing fantastic exposure to all aspects of accounting with the renewables arena. Furthermore, the finance function is stacked with superb senior finance professionals, that are willing and passionate to dedicate their time & efforts to ensure aspiring finance professionals reach their full potential. The key components of the role will include:

• Involvement in high profile group wide projects including process & continuous improvement
• Production and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of statutory accounts & returns
• Investment accounting - mergers, acquisitions, impairment, disposals etc.
• Financial analysis - costs & revenue
• Budget setting & monitoring
• Taxation & VAT returns with assistance from External Tax Advisors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of fixed assets
• Maintenance of intercompany transactions
• Overseeing transactional finance

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with qualified Accountants, from one of the following backgrounds though finalists will be considered with a few exams remaining:

1. An Accountant that has came through an industry background with good exposure to both financial and management accounting

OR

1. A candidate that qualified in Practice, seeking their first inhouse move into industry.
