Repacking Operative

The Best Connection are recruiting Repacking Operatives for one of our esteemed clients situated in the Chesterfield area.
Our client boasts over 30 years of expertise in their field and holds the prestigious title of being the largest co-packer in the UK. They have established partnerships with some of the most renowned brands, specialising in co-packing their products.
As a Repacking Operative, you will be an integral part of the production line, responsible for packing and re-labelling products with utmost precision to ensure the highest quality standards. Your duties will include repacking products into smaller quantities, palletising, shrink wrapping, and maintaining efficient workflow to meet targets. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have their own transport due to the location of the job.
Key Responsibilities: Follow all Safe Systems of Work and procedures. Promptly report any near-miss incidents, hazards, or defective equipment. Report accidents and assist in investigations when required. Adhere to all Quality procedures to maintain product integrity. Notify Line Leader of any faults in packed products such as poor seals or coding issues. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards. Ensure correct pallet layout and maintain a tidy work area. Work diligently to achieve production targets. Collaborate with Line Leader to meet line objectives. Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve production targets. Familiarity with production targets specific to your assigned line. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Possess a conscientious and reliable work ethic. Benefits: Weekly Pay. 28 days annual leave based on accrual. Free on-site parking facilities.
