Job description

Do you have experience in scheduling of repairs and would like to work for a Charity well known for their fantastic work to the local community?

Reed have partnered with a long-standing Bristol based Charity, to support with the hire of a RepairsCoordinator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is all about providing high quality housing, care and support for the elderly.

Duties:

Receive phone calls and emails requesting reactive repair jobs and void works from both internal and external customers.
Fully understand the nature of the repair request and how it is best dealt with. Taking into consideration policy, procedure and repair responsibilities.
Accurately log details of the repair job, using the database to review the history of the property and identify any relevant information to assist in the job.
Schedule responsive and void works.
Deliver excellent customer service and manage the relationship with the customer to reach an effective resolution to the repair request.
Allocate jobs to the most appropriate person using internal and external options to ensure first time fix is achieved.
Raise dwelling and communal inspections for internal Surveyors/Inspectors.
Assist the maintenance team to order the appropriate equipment and materials to enable them to do the job
Ensure that the database is continually updated and that all outstanding jobs are monitored.
Provide key performance indicators to the management team as required.
Strive to improve the service we offer. Challenge and drive out superfluous or wasteful practices.
Be actively involved in seeking continuous improvement in service delivery in a customer focused environment
Assist in any other duties that may be necessary which may include: providing administrative duties to the wider team, update customer details, work with the Customer Service Team to collect rent, arrange viewings, etc.
Use van tracker and scheduling systems to ensure efficiency and value for money.
Process invoices.

About you:
Experience in a coordinating/scheduling role would be preferable
An understanding of property, maintenance and housing would be preferable
Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
An ability to prioritise your workload
Ability to communicate effectively with residents to diagnose the repairs issue.
Computer literate - Knowledge of Windows and Google systems
