Responsibilities of the Repairs Operations Manager role:
- Review weekly, monthly and quarterly performance including productivity and customer experience
- In conjunction with colleagues in HRS, develop and monitor KPI's relating to Productivity
- Create a high performing planning team focused on maximising resources
- Proactively manage productivity concerns through providing data to managers and guidance
- Provide leadership and advice to all operational managers
- Ensure that contract management, H&S and people management activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies
Skills needed in the Repairs Operations Manager role:
- The ability to clearly present and/or report complex information
- Be able to identify service improvements and apply new approaches to help achieve team targets
- Experience of managing contractor performance, evaluating, and introducing new delivery models
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships to achieve objectives
- Experience of working in a similar Senior Management level role preferably in social housing
- Excellent knowledge of financial management of contracts and responsive repairs, including budget setting, monitoring and control
