Location: Based in Portishead with Hybrid working

Salary: £54,197 per annum

The Vacancy

Permanent, full time (37 hours per week)

As one of the largest providers of social housing, our client exist to create great places to live that their customers are proud to call home. Key to this, is their Home Repairs Service who are fundamental to ensuring their homes are well maintained and meet their customers' expectations.

This role will lead the delivery of their repairs service across our 6,500 homes and manage a large team of Multi-skilled Operatives.

Their culture means they build trust and encourage colleagues to be themselves and empower them to make great decisions on behalf of the customer. Strong people management is a fundamental element of this role.

About you

They are looking for someone with:

Proven experience of running a responsive repairs department, plus motivating and leading a team to be their best for their customers, are a must.

You need to have a customer first approach along with a curious nature to continuously improve the service to meet the needs of their customers and organisational strategic plans.

Be able to demonstration the ability to collaborate and build good working relationships with other departments and third-party contractors.

An understanding of and ability to interpret and report on key performance data would be welcome along with good financial planning and management.
