Job Title:Reporting Analyst
Contract type: Temporary – 6 Months
Location: London (Hybrid Working – 2 days per week in office)
Pay: £18.13 per hour plus £3.39 holiday pay – £18.96 per hour plus £3.55 holiday pay (equivalent to £33,000-£34,500 FTE)
Working Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (9am-5pm)
Charity People are delighted to be working with one of the leading educational institutions in London. The Fundraising and Supporter development department have a temporary opportunity within the Data Team to help during a busy time.
As a Reporting Analyst, you will work within the Data Team, taking data from multiple sources and turning them into digestible reports, dashboards and analysis. Being a clear communicator of often complex information, you will deliver insight into the performance of our various fundraising and engagement programmes, giving colleagues the information they need to continually innovate and improve.
You will be keen to learn and develop, embracing new technologies and ways of working, and will work with Data Team and others across the department to improve the quality of the underlying data we all rely on.
You will be required to liaise and work collaboratively with other teams, and with their partner organisations, on new fundraising projects and initiatives to ensure their future reporting requirements can be met. You will often need to manage multiple requests and prioritise your workload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build reports and dashboards within Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics based on a solid understanding of colleagues requirements
* Transform source data using SQL and other tools
* Translate data and information into actionable insights tailored for stakeholder interests
* In collaboration with the Data Team and others across the department, ensure the continued improvement of the underlying data which underpins the reports you produce
* Balance a busy workload and ensure deadline conflicts are managed, considering the priorities of their internal clients
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Proficiency in data insight, analysis, and reporting techniques
* Significant experience with fundraising CRMs in a technical or report writing capacity
* Ability to build reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
* Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly
* Experience managing conflicting deadlines and multiple priorities
