SCOPE OF ROLE

In this role as a Research Analyst you will join our London-based team of industry analysts and report into the Analyst Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent life-science, finance, mathematics, or statistics graduate who is looking for an entry-level position.

As a Research Analyst you will assist in the development of new products and enhancements of the current product suite, maintenance and rollout of the current solutions portfolio, and delivery of customised client projects. You will work closely with the existing team of Senior Analysts and will provide technical, administrative and analytical support.


HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

In this role as a Research Analyst, you will be:

  • Preparing and publishing Evaluate’s competitive intelligence information and research;
  • Overseeing the production of, and validation of, company forecast models;
  • Ensuring that Evaluate continues to deliver the high-quality and highly-respected products to our clients;
  • Assisting in all areas of new product development: from initial product concept through to commercial launch;
  • Contributing to bespoke client projects through research, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data to produce insightful and actionable feedback for clients
  • Providing support to both internal and external clients.

Full training and support will be provided via mentoring and you can expect to gain a broad and deep commercial understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices industries.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and competency with VBA
  • You are proficient with other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)
  • You are proficient in Alteryx, Python or other data processing tools
  • You have good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • You have effective time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines, and achieve targets in a team environment

Desirable

  • You have a degree in Life Sciences, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics or similar field
  • You have some initial work experience in information services, data processing fields
