Our client has acquired a collection of Grade-I listed homes, encompassing an impressive 100,000 square feet. Over the next decade, he plans to meticulously redevelop this historic property portfolio into a revolutionary residential masterpiece.
As the Research Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of this groundbreaking venture. This is an entirely new position, based full-time in Central London.
Key Responsibilities of the Research Assistant:
- Conduct detailed and thorough research critical to the success of the redevelopment project.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy aligned with the development project's objectives.
- Engage in in-depth conversations with a diverse range of professionals, including contractors, architects, planners, surveyors, and agents.
- Establish systems for collecting, organising, and managing data.
- Produce comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on research findings.
- Stay informed about competitors and industry benchmarks to ensure the project remains innovative and competitive.
- Travel to events and trade shows across the UK and Europe.
- Work closely with project managers and planners to select and liaise with contractors, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Requirements:
- Be able to write and present detailed reports and documents.
- Be confident, outgoing and personable
- Be diligent, hardworking, and dedicated.
- Be willing to work fulltime, weekends if needed and travel.
- Demonstrate astuteness and commitment.
- Have a passion for property development.
- Preferably a property related or research based degree.
- Showcase a high level of initiative.
The salary for this position is in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
